The Create Your Own Custom Binder is the product our customers order most, and the one we get the most questions about. Here is exactly how a custom order works, what it costs and what to prepare before you get in touch.
Step 1: send us your idea
Message us on Instagram (@oasisbinders), email sales@oasisbinders.com.au or use the customisation form. Tell us the cover colour, the binder format and what you want engraved. That might be a favourite character, your own artwork, a team or club logo, a name and date for a gift, or a set logo for a master-set binder. A reference image helps, even if it is rough.
Step 2: we prepare the artwork
Laser engraving works differently from printing. Fine detail, contrast and line weight all affect how a design looks on PU leather, so we refine your concept into an engraving-ready file and send you a preview. This is the time to change anything.
Step 3: approve and order
Once you are happy with the preview, place your order on the Create Your Own Custom Binder page, selecting the same colour and format we agreed on. Your binder then enters production. Please do not order before approval; the listing is for approved designs only.
Step 4: engraving and shipping
Your binder is engraved individually in Sydney, checked and packed, then shipped Australia-wide or worldwide. Each piece is engraved one at a time, so minor variations are part of what makes it yours.

Twelve cover colours are available: black, white, gold, blue, pink, turquoise, red, purple, orange, green, lime green and yellow.
Things to know
- Custom binders are made to order and cannot be returned unless faulty, so check your preview carefully.
- We can engrave artwork you own or have permission to use. Ask us if you are unsure.
- Gift orders are welcome; tell us the date you need it by when you first get in touch.
